Double chocolate chip muffins
Our favourite double chocolate chip muffins - deliciously light and chocolatey. A chocolate lovers delight and easy enough for kids to make.
unsweetened cocoa powder
Preheat your oven to 200C and prepare a muffin tin
Mix the dry ingredients together
Measure each of the dry ingredients in turn and add to a large mixing bowl. Give it a good mix.
Whisk the wet ingredients together
Add the vanilla extract, egg, yoghurt, milk and vegetable oil to a separate mixing bowl.
Whisk it all together.
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients bowl and mix it together just enough so you can’t see any more flour. It’ll still be a little lumpy but that’s fine.
Bake the chocolate muffins
Spoon your mixture into your muffin tin/cases.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. They’re ready when a toothpick or skewer poked into the centre comes out clean.
Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before removing and leaving on a wire rack to cool completely.
